Dawn was born in NY, raised in both CA and FL.  She has always had a genuine compassionate sensitivity to people, animals, and nature.

Dawn is a retired Navy veteran.  She worked as an aviation electronic technician and later became a Navy career counselor. Shortly after retiring, she worked at a health food store which was a wonderful change of pace and thought.

Dawn's first Reiki experience was in the early part of 2000.  Over a year later, Dawn was suffering from an acute migraine and a friend offered to give her Reiki.  She noticed a definite relief from the pain!   The following year she took her first Reiki class and has been on the incredible body, mind, spirit Reiki journey ever since!

She has treated over several hundreds of  people, including many hospice patients (which included Reiki support to the family during the transition time period).  Dawn has also treated numerous animals including birds, cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, and cows.

Dawn continues studying programs and techniques in the Health and Wellness field.  Her goal is to open a Healing and Training Center, which will treat people from all economical backgrounds. 

Dawn is also a Certified Wellness Counselor, Peer Mentor, Life Coach, an Angel Therapist Practitioner and an ordained Interfaith Minister.  Dawn has three children, whom all hold Reiki certifications.  Her middle name, "Gold" was chosen by her parents to honor her great-grandma, Goldie.  She has settled in gorgeous Kaneohe, HI.
